Our standby generator only has a few hundred hours. Is it worth more?
Usually, yes — a lot more. Low-hour standby units are the most sought-after machines in the used market because buyers get near-new life at a used price. Exercise-only hours with maintenance logs put your unit at the top of the pricing range.
Do you take the automatic transfer switch and switchgear too?
We prefer it. A genset paired with its ATS or paralleling gear sells as a complete power system, and that completeness is reflected in our offer. Docking stations, day tanks, and remote annunciators add value as well.
Can you remove a generator from a rooftop or basement mechanical room?
Yes. Penthouse, rooftop, and below-grade removals are routine for our rigging partners — crane picks, knock-downs through elevators, and street closures included. Indoor installation is never a reason to scrap a good unit.
